Ken Roberts is an American singer and songwriter who has recorded and performed with a wide range of musicians from the rock and country genres. Originally signed by Byrds producer Jim Dickson as part of the band Pacific Coast, Roberts spent two years writing and recording at Graham Nash’s Rudy Records Studios under the guidance of Dickson, before teaming up with producer/drummer J Michael Huey (Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh) and songwriting partner Lonnie DeAraujo to record their first album, an EP titled, Malibu.

In 2012 Roberts released his first solo album, Every Day, produced by Brent Bourgeois (Todd Rundgren). Featuring the popular songs Holding On and Every Day, the album enjoyed strong international sales and attracted the attention of Hollywood music producers. Only Love landed a featured spot in the hit Showtime series The Affair, watched by over 3 million viewers, while Holding On has been tabbed for the upcoming motion picture, Whisky Galore. The title track from Every Day appeared in Kevin Bacon's tv series The Following on Fox, and songs from both Every Day and California have been featured on SkyeTV, Farmer’s Department Stores (NZ), Nascar TV, and various radio and tv commercials in Canada and the UK. Several additional songs have been signed and are expected to appear in upcoming movie and tv projects, and recently, Ken signed an exclusive contract to provide songs to the prestigious Chicago Music Library.

California is a collection of 12 new songs of life, love, loss, hope, and redemption. In addition to Roberts on vocals, guitar and harmonies, California features Alex Drizos (Dave Mason, America) on bass guitar, Keith Edwards (Amy Grant, Ricky Skaggs) on drums, Marty Rifkin (Bruce Springsteen) on pedal steel guitar, Steve Stizzo (Mumbo Gumbo) on piano and organ, and Rich Ayres (Producer) on guitar and harmonies. California is a perfect blend of melodies, vocals and lyrics in Roberts' “west coast country” style, and is a must have for anyone who loves great music!
